The small group ministry is the backbone of Westwood Community Church. It is in this ministry that the majority of the spiritual needs of folks will be met. We have set the happenings of the groups to an acronym:
P = Prayer E = Encouragement A = Accountabilbity C = Content H = Hangin’ out |

The groups are intimate enough to allow folks to be real. When that happens, prayer is the one sure way we can help and show each other that we care.
We all need a pat on the back every now and then. It’s so good to receive a boost form our friends. As well, giving encouragement is rewarding. In our Small Groups, you will both give and receive love and strength.
Just as a kind word goes a long way, so does genuine concern for the spiritual formation of a group of people. In the groups we openly discuss spiritual matters in hope that we might help each other understand and apply the principles.
The content is that part of the group meeting where we take a topic and do the actual discussion. I must say, this is the part where we get into some pretty cool conversation as we discover God and His incredible love for all people.
Kicking back with a cool group of people is the perfect way to relax and get to know each other better.
If this appeals to you (and we hope it does), give a small group a try. We have some awesome groups that are already up and running, as well, we are forming new groups all the time. Maybe you would like to hook-up with some folks or start your own group; either way, GO FOR IT!
Our Small Group ministry can best be described in Westwood’s logo statement, “Loving God By Loving People.”
